IMMORTALITY An interactive trilogy created by Sam Barlow (creator of Her Story), is called “Immortality”. Make use of the cinematic capability to teleport from scene to scene to explore a treasure trove of newly unearthed footage from the three lost films by Marissa Marcel and traverse decades of movie history:

1968

Alan Fischer directs Ambrosio his adaptation of M. G. Lewis’s famous Gothic novel The Monk. He casts unknown Marissa Marcel as the infamous Matilda.

1970

John Durick writes his thriller Minsky with Marcel in his mind. The film is set at New York City, the film is about the suicide of a well-known artist. Marissa portrays the role of the muse who is suspected of murdering him.

1999

To celebrate his last performance, Durick teams up with Marcel to reunite with Marcel from a lengthy hiatus. The movie Two of Everything is a subversive thriller that explores the ambiguity between a popular celebrity and her second.

The films were never made. It was believed that these films be missing or destroyed. Until now.
