You’re the Cursed Golfer , and you’re about to win the world’s biggest tournament. Legend has it that playing the treacherous golf courses in Golf Purgatory will get you back into the world of the living, and in particular, to that trophy you’re hoping to take home. Each golf course is run by a ghostly Legendary Caddie who can guide you through the mysterious ways of golf to aid you on your quest for the redemption and rebirth.
Cursed to Golf gives a fresh take on the subgenres of golfing as well as roguelike. You must navigate through the PAR counting hole or you’ll be cursed again upon entering the course. For added challenge, these courses don’t just contain rough areas and bunkers, but are also chock full of crazy obstacles such as spikes with high power, fans powered by electricity and TNT box, teleporters and lots more. The twist to the traditional game features a variety of insane challenges.
The fact that you’re cursed with the ability to play golf for the rest of eternity in the midst of Golf Purgatory can have its advantages, too! Take advantage of Birdie-Eye for a view of the whole golf course, and to see what challenges will be ahead. Do you have a low par count? Luckily, gold and silver Shot Idols can be found throughout the holes, smashing into them with cinematic flourish will replenish your shots. Ace Cards can alter the game towards your side, allowing you to use your supernatural ability to manipulate the game in amazing ways. The Scattershot U-Turn, Rocketball, Mulligans are just a few of 20cards on hand to change the odds in your favour!
