PlatinumGames NEO-CLASSIC ARCADE series carries the joy and excitement of old-fashioned gaming and modern technology. The initial project involves Sol Cresta. Sol Cresta takes the docking and formation techniques of the classical shooting games Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta and elevates them by introducing it’s “free-form docking” method. The main character, Yamato made up of the vessels Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano will be able to employ a range of different attacks determined by the manner in which three of the ships are aligned. The docking, the splitting and restructuring the ships when necessary is essential to defeating the invading armies of Mandler.
