Mutate IO Game Review

Mutate.io (also known as Mutatio) is a multiplayer variant of agar.io. The player controls a blob that can be changed, fed, and grown or used as a weapon to harm the other.
This game was made to participate in the Pygame Community New Years jam (theme: mutation), and I tried to use the jam to learn about networking and play around with the game development practices that I’m still not familiar with (e.g. lower global state).
Currently the only server is the one I’m running at: 34.76.77.52, which I’ll likely keep for about a month when the software is released. The max number of concurrent clients is allowed to be 10.

Versions explained:version 1.0.1 was made available prior to the end of the jamversion 1.0.2 included minor fixes to bugs in the server.py files that were related to abrupt disconnections of clients. disconnections”slim” version are compiled versions in which I’ve tried to strip out any folders or DLLs or folders that I don’t think is necessary in order to run the program. It is your responsibility to download the download.
